چکیده
When rubberized, concrete beams lose some of their flexural strength. Conversely, strengthening accounts for a sizeable portion the structural applications external carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP) sheets that strengthen beams. In this study, externally bonded were used to compensate strength loss brought on by using rubberized in constructing The study's split into two groups, each with three first group, waste tire rubber (WTR) replaced (5 and 10) % fine coarse aggregate, respectively. reference group is second typical concrete-mixture without rubber. Each beam measured (2.1 m ×0.3m × 0.2m) has same tensile, compression, shear reinforcement. Every contained any reinforcement, single layer, double layers sheet, where soffit was strengthened. ABAQUS' finite element analysis software represent third layer numerically. mechanical properties groups have been tested; additionally, response examined monotonic two-point loading. outcomes denote one sheet increases crack load (FCL) failure (FL) (8.57 17.64) (17.14 34.27) %, deflection (FCD) also increased (58.64) (78.19) while (FD) decreased (13.25) (5.42)

Flexural Testing of High Strength Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with CFRP Sheets
The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of externally bonded CFRP sheets to increase the flexural strength of reinforced high strength concrete (HSC) beams. Four-point bending flexural tests to complete failure on six concrete beams, strengthened with different layouts of CFRP sheets were conducted. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) models were adopted by A...
متن کاملFatigue Assessment Model of Corroded RC Beams Strengthened with Prestressed CFRP Sheets
This paper presents a fatigue assessment model that was developed for corroded reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened using prestressed carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) sheets. The proposed model considers the fatigue properties of the constituent materials as well as the section equilibrium. The model provides a rational approach that can be used to explicitly assess the failure mod...

Trapezoidal prestressed unbonded retrofit (TPUR) systems have been recently developed and tested. The authors have already developed a comprehensive and accurate analytical solution for the TPUR system that takes many system parameters into account. The main aim of this paper is to develop a simplified analytical solution for predicting the behavior of metal beams that have been strengthened wi...
متن کاملFlexural Capacity of Rc Beams Strengthened with Srp and Srg
The use of externally bonded Steel-Reinforced Polymer (SRP) and Steel Reinforced Grout (SRG) composites is a promising new technology for increasing the flexural and shear capacities of reinforced concrete (RC) members. The reinforcement system in these composites is a sheet made up of unidirectional cords consisting of tightly wound ultra high strength steel wires. The reinforcement can be mol...
متن کاملInvestigation on Flexural Performance of RC Beams Flexurally Strengthened by Side-bonded CFRP Laminates
It is an effective way to improve the flexural behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) members by externally bonded carbon fiber reinforcement polymer (CFRP) laminates on the soffit of the members. However, there is little investigation on flexural performance of RC beam flexurally strengthened by side-bonded FRP laminates. To investigate the flexural behavior of RC beams side-bonded CFRP laminate...
